This guide will help you get started with the Medium to Notion extension, including both single article sync and batch sync features.
🚀 Single Sync (Sync One Article)
- Open Medium Article
- Go to your Medium article(publish by yourself) page you want to sync to Notion.
- Click the Extension Icon
- Find the "Medium to Notion" icon in your browser's extension bar and click it.
- Connect to Notion
- If not already connected, click "Connect to Notion" and authorize access to your Notion workspace.
- Select your target database from the dropdown.
- Sync the Article
- Click the "Sync to Notion" button in the popup.
- The current article will be instantly synced to your selected Notion database, preserving formatting, images, and structure.
- Check Your Notion
- Open your Notion database to see the synced article. You can now edit, organize, or share it as needed.
📦 Batch Sync (Sync Multiple Articles)
- Open Options Page
- Click the extension icon and select "Go Bulk Export" or open the extension's options page.
- Connect to Notion
- Make sure you're connected to Notion and have selected a target database.
- Configure Sync Settings
- Choose your sync scope: "Latest Page Only" (~25 posts) or "All Published Posts"
- Select conflict strategy: Skip if exists, Overwrite if exists, or Always insert new
- Enable "Skip already synced articles" to avoid duplicates
- Start Medium Sync
- Click the "Start Medium Sync" button.
- The extension will automatically open Medium and process all selected articles sequentially.
- Monitor Progress
- Watch the sync progress in real-time with success/failed/skipped counts.
- Check the sync history to review completed syncs and any failures.
💡 Tips & Notes
- Formatting: The sync preserves article formatting, images, and structure in Notion.
- Privacy: All processing is done locally in your browser. No data is sent to any server.
- Settings: You can adjust sync options including conflict resolution and sync scope in the options page.
